Carolyn Kraus

Carolyn has an MBA as well as a successful background in both strategic turnarounds and restructuring companies to focus on maximizing company profits.  Her strengths include developing creative strategies, writing and/or critiquing business and marketing plans, budgeting and financial analysis.  Carolyn has demonstrated an ability to lead diverse teams and individuals to meet critical objectives.

Carolyn’s recent track record includes the successful restructuring, reorganization, and consolidation of 16 domestic and international companies.

Carolyn also served as interim management consultant for HKE, LLC where she significantly reduced operating losses while simultaneously evaluating the company’s investment opportunities and creating project-related financial forecasts for over $100 million in real estate development.

As Director of Marketing for Desert Growth Partners, a venture lending company, Carolyn implemented marketing initiatives dealing with website, customer and client databases, and direct mail matters.  In addition, she authored the company’s business plan, created a detailed 10 year $200 million venture lending model and assisted in the preparation of a private placement memorandum which passed independent audit.

Carolyn worked in management at Honeywell International in Strategic Marketing where she developed a database to track historical trends and to forecast future sales.  In doing so she consolidated and articulated data from various inter-company sources.  The system eventually included over 50,000 platforms.  Additionally, she created models that used historical information to estimate future production costs, thereby improving competitive pricing estimates going forward.

Carolyn holds her MBA with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Eller Graduate School of Management at the University of Arizona along with a BS in Marketing from Arizona State University.  She is currently completing work for the certification of CTP-D (Certified Turnaround Professional).  She maintains a continuing relationship with the Eller School as a mentor and judge for the undergraduate business development courses and the entrepreneurship program.
